What are flavour concentrates and longfills for e-cigarettes?
Many vapers mix their e-liquid themselves because it gives them more choice and lets them decide the strength. Flavour concentrates are the basis for this.
How do longfills work?
Longfills are highly concentrated flavours in a larger bottle. You top them up with base to the indicated mark, with or without nicotine as you prefer. Then shake the bottle well. For many flavours it is also worth letting the liquid steep for a few days so that the taste fully develops. You will find suitable bases and nicotine shots under Bases & Shots, where we also explain how to choose the right mixing ratio.
What is the difference from ready-made e-liquids?
A longfill still needs topping up, a ready-made liquid does not. If you would rather start vaping straight away, you will find ready-mixed liquids, including nicotine salt, in our 10 ml e-liquid category.

Our range is constantly growing, so it is worth checking back regularly. Here are the main directions:
Fruity, fresh or rather classic?
- Fruit: for example Mango Gold or Melonensaft from Vaporist Treibstoff, Blueberry from SC Red Line or Einfach Fruchtig from Big Bottle
- Fresh and mint: such as Mr. Mint by Big Bottle, Spearmint or the icy flavours of the Dr. Frost Arctic Edition

Which devices are self-mixed liquids suitable for?
Which liquid works well in your device depends mainly on the mixing ratio of the base. For mouth-to-lung devices such as most pod systems, a balanced ratio of PG and VG often works well. For devices with very low resistance, many vapers prefer a higher VG content.
